Description

Casa Campos is located on one of the best streets in historic Centro, the heart of San Miguel de Allende.  A UNESCO listed house, Casa Campos completed a three-year renovation in 2023, keeping the historic identity intact while updating every system throughout its 10,000 square feet. The house is thoughtfully laid out with multiple living and dining areas, both inside and al fresco, including a dramatic covered outdoor sala by the pool, a grand covered terrace for dining and entertaining, a garden courtyard with a cascading fountain, and arguably one of the best views of San Miguel anywhere in Centro. 
Special consideration was taken in construction such as a whole house water filtration and softening with additional reverse osmosis filtering in both kitchens for exceptional drinking water.  A large portion of the power consumed is offset by the solar panels placed out of view on the rooftops. 
There are 8 bathrooms fitted with Water Works faucets and hardware and 5 bedrooms all with king-sized beds.  The fifth bedroom has an adjacent smaller bedroom with a queen sofa sleeper and its own full bath which can be used as an office space for the teleworker, or as a fully independent small 6th bedroom.  Every bedroom has its own HVAC, high speed Wi-Fi (200MPS), and lock boxes.  Four have fireplaces.  Each has unique attributes which make it hard to choose a favorite, whether it’s a poolside lounge area, a private terrace garden with a fountain, or breathtaking views of the city.  The house is large, and the owners considered their guests at every step including small bodegas with Nespresso machines, refrigerators, and wine coolers close to each bedroom so one can emerge or hide away self-sufficient for as long as one wishes.
There are six fireplaces, three fountains, full-mesh Wi-Fi, Sonos speakers, and the top-of-the-line Lutron lighting system to illuminate the multiple vignettes.
The Master bedroom has two Juliette balconies overlooking Centro with a view of the Parroquia, a private terrace, fireplace, a deep bathtub, steam in the shower, and heated bathroom floors.  
Casa Campos has a fully equipped classic Mexican kitchen as well as a professional open chef’s kitchen just off of the dining area.  The owner is a former restauranteur and enjoys cooking himself. The chef’s kitchen also makes an excellent venue for hiring a management-approved professional chef to create a special dinner for you in-house.
The house employs a professionally trained staff of 4, who will clean and can prepare two meals (breakfast and lunch, if requested, Monday through Friday and 1 meal on Saturday). Continental breakfast is included in the rate.  The staff will clean the rooms daily (Monday through Saturday) and can do laundry if requested.  Jose, the bilingual house manager is also available to accommodate special requests including catering,  booking in-house massages, and several other amenities.
